General information about our online store
The products of the e-commerce are sold by Kiinteistö Oy Krepelin’s business ID 1049978-1 (later: Krepelin). We sell products to adult individuals in Finland. Orders under the age of 18 are taken care of by a guardian. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.
Products are generally ordered via the Internet at www.krepelin.fi via the shopping cart. All orders are confirmed by e-mail, stating the price of the order, delivery costs and the ordered products. To receive an order confirmation, you must provide an email address when ordering. The customer agrees to the delivery terms valid for each order.
We will send you an order confirmation by e-mail showing:
- an order number that you can use as a reference when dealing with the order
- payment method information
- delivery information
- ordered products
- invoice summary
You can check the content of your order through the user account on our website. Krepelin reserves the right to correct product prices if they appear incorrectly in the online store due to technical reasons.
Discounts are calculated on the normal price of the product. Only one discount per product. Coupon code discounts are calculated at checkout.
Products and their postage are paid when ordering. You have access to a comprehensive selection of secure, domestic Checkout company payment methods. You can read more about payment methods on the Payment page.
We post products every weekday. Depending on the bank connections, it will take 1-3 business days from the payment of the invoice. Deviating delivery times are announced in the “News” section of Krepelin’s front page. If for any reason we are unable to deliver your order immediately or at all, we will contact you.
Delivery method and delivery costs
Shipping costs include freight and packaging costs. You can view delivery costs after selecting the payment and delivery method in the Shopping Cart. We deliver orders as a package or letter. Only the package can be tracked with the shipment ID. If delivery is desired as a “breakable” package, the payment for the separately processed package will be added to the delivery costs according to the valid postal prices. For more information on Posti’s package options, payments and transport methods, visit www.posti.fi. Once the shipment has been left to be transported by Post or another forwarder, Krepelin has no possibility to influence the chosen delivery method or address.
Changes and returns
The customer has a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right of return only applies to unused and marketable products in the original packaging. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must give notice of cancellation before the end of the withdrawal period (Chapter 6, Section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act). You can make a cancellation notice by e-mail to info (at) krepelin.fi or by letter to Kiinteistö Oy Krepelin, Itäinen Pitkäkatu 47, 64100 Kristiinankaupunki.
Please include the following information when returning items:
- your customer number, name, address and telephone number
- a copy of the order confirmation

The products can be returned either by free customer return by post or directly to Hotel Krepelin. Krepelin will cover for the return costs when the return has been made in accordance with our instructions through Posti’s customer return service.
Krepelin will return to the customer all payments received from the customer for the returned products, including any delivery costs, without delay and in any case no later than 14 days after the company has received the returned products or until the customer has proven that he has returned the products. Krepelin will make the return using the payment method which you used to pay for the order, do so with the Extranet system of Checkout Finland and in such a way that the customer does not incur any costs for returning the services.
We will not accept returns more than 14 days after delivery unless a longer return period is given in advance separately in writing in the order confirmation or by email. Once the refund is accepted, the money will be refunded directly to your account upon receipt and processing of the refund. In accordance with Chapter 6, Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act, performance is returned when the goods have been returned (http://www.finlex.fi/fi/laki/ajantasa/1978/19780038#L6P17). We charge a separate fee of € 30 for the costs incurred by our company for deliveries that have not been picked up at the site.
Restrictions on the right of return in accordance with Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act:
Hygiene and intimacy products do not have a right of return after opening the package, as the product is not returnable for sale due to its nature. Hygiene and intimacy products include, for example, beauty and skin care products.
A product will not be granted the right of return and / or cancellation if it is a commodity manufactured, ordered or modified specifically at the request of the buyer, when the work has begun to be completed or the purchase order for the product purchased for the customer has been completed.
Problem situations during transport and for defective products
If the product has been lost during transport, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer must report the error immediately to info [at] finfonic.fi or by post:

Notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receipt of the product. If the package is damaged in the post office or in the handling of another forwarder, a complaint must be made about the product immediately to the post office or to the forwarder concerned.
Processing of personal data
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It means e.g. that
- Your information stored in connection with your purchase in the online store will only be stored in Krepelin’s own customer service system. Any hotel reservations you make will be stored in a hotel reservation system with the same type of rules and you can read about them here.
- The e-commerce register is only intended for the management of Krepelin’s e-commerce customer relationships.
- The e-commerce register is accessible only to Krepelin staff and authorized system administrators, it is confidential and its information is not disclosed to third parties.
- Your bank or credit card information will not be disclosed to Krepelin staff.
- All data transfers take place via secure, secure connections.
Information contained in the e-commerce register:
- Customer name
- Customer contact information (possible workplace, work or home address, telephone number, fax, e-mail)
- Purchase history
- Purchased products
- Date of order
- Order payment method
- Order history
